Is this really happening?

I was on the most ridiculous Zoom call I have ever been a part of. A full-grown man, my colleague, sitting in another country was screaming at me through my screen.

He and I disagreed on who should build the financial model for a particular deal. He was more aggressive and outspoken than I have ever been on literally anything in my life.

I stayed silent, letting him be. I was offended, yes, but mostly ostracized. I don’t belong here, I thought to myself, I need to leave.
