This week I’m sharing the power of an ‘unhurried’ mindset, listing the EOY events you cannot miss, and giving you Harvard’s lastest research on loneliness.
Lots of smiles in last week’s episode of On Connection✌️what did you think of our conversation?

The power of ‘unhurrying’
I called a friend last week to catch up. She recently moved cities and I wanted to know how things were going. I asked about her new commute to work, which she mentioned was a lovely walk. Oh, right, I said, you probably get to walk by the sea.
“Oh, well, that’s the scenic route. Takes about five minutes longer than my usual route, so I reserve it for special occasions only”.
Wait, what? I was baffled, laughing incredulously. Since when did a five-minute difference require a special occasion?
I know my friend loves the sea. It broke my heart to hear she didn’t feel she had five ‘extra’ minutes to ‘spare’ for a lovely walk to work every day.
And then… I found myself guilty of the same hurry.
