What a time to be alive!! Plus, EOY events and content for your travels.

❄️ Hello, you special snowflake! Have you started pushing things off to January already? I certainly have.

This week, I’m encouraging you to build the world you want to live in before the end of the year. Plus—listen to Robert Putnam c. 25 years after publishing Bowling Alone and check out two events happening today!!

Thank you to Melissa Ariganello from Wandering Collective for our FASCINATING conversation on social media and connection in last week’s On Connection.

BUILDING A CULTURE OF BELONGING

I set out to build Casa Cinco almost a year ago, on a personal mission to build a more connected world. How? I didn’t know. I would have to experiment, learn, and experiment again. But my purpose in life was, once and for all, crystal clear.

In that process, Casa Cinco evolved from a new-wave members’ club, to an impact fund, to what it is today: a movement. One inspiring and enabling people to live a more connected life through resources, research, and events. One building a more connected world reader by reader, listener by listener, connection by connection. Whether this one day becomes a club, a fund, or something else, only time will tell.

What’s important for me now is to obsess over the problem—the opportunity—and obsess you on it along the way. That is the first step towards building the best solutions.

And that is where Belong Center comes in.
